THE POSITION
Come join our team as a Clerk Typist 2. We're Hiring for the Beaver County Area Agency on Aging! This is a local government position with salary and benefits offered by Beaver County.

Work Schedule:
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - One hour lunch
Monday - Friday
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The incumbents perform a variety of clerical support such as typing agency correspondence, reports, filing, answering the telephone and forwarding calls to the appropriate staff member. Work also involves greeting visitors, sorting mail creating spreadsheets, and entering computer information from documenting agency work activity or consumer information (SAMS Database). Work is reviewed through periodic meetings, conferences, and written reports, for adherence to Federal and State rules and regulations, and agency policy and procedures. The majority of the job duties are assigned through the Administrative Assistant and Administrative staff.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
