Occupational Therapist
AOT, Inc., the leading provider of pediatric, school-based services in southwestern Pennsylvania is immediately seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to work with school-age children for 5 days a week in 2 school districts this school year; with hours available this summer and into next school year!

We keep abreast of new educational practices. Our team of experienced school-based therapist managers provides our therapists with practical tools, training in best practices, and clinical oversight. We embrace innovation and research not only in our areas of specialization but also in the educational arena to empower therapists to work effectively with teachers and parents. Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant
Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, yearly IEP revisions; including updated goals and treatment strategies.
Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
Some travel may be required throughout the school day
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited OT/OTA educational program.
Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant License
Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
