You will participate in short to medium term rotational assignments that are designed to educate and train you in the different aspects the recycling businesses.
These rotations will/may consist of operational and commercial assignments throughout the various departments of an operational facility.
These rotations will consist of projects, activities, and hands on training to learn the ferrous, non-ferrous, shredder, feeder yards, and sales aspects of the scrap metal industry.
You will have the opportunity to engage with senior leaders and other team members to facilitate your training and industry knowledge.

You will spend time cross training and working in every job in the assigned yard.
These rotations are designed to provide you with the hands-on-knowledge and experience of the various positions involved in the processing and recycling of scrap metal.
Learn each of our business operations and understand how each function supports our business strategy.
Observe and learn how the various positions interact with, and impact each other during normal operations.
Develop the necessary supervisory skills needed to safely manage a productive and efficient team.
Work directly with all employees to learn how to motivate, direct, and deal with employee relations situations.
Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills to consistently and efficiently make effective business decisions.
Assist management with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating efficiencies and results.
Ensure a healthy work environment that promotes safety, communication, collaboration, accountability.
Lead by example in performing all job functions in a safe manner and maintain safety awareness.
What you will need as a Management Trainee:
Recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent leadership experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience within a student organization, volunteer projects, athletic team, or military service.
Demonstrated problem-solving, verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills.
Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and ability and interest to assume advanced responsibility.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Willingness to travel as needed, and to relocate temporarily, within the assigned region, to complete rotational assignments.
Willingness to accept a permanent assignment within the continental US.
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
